Join the PTA!
Great Neck Middle School needs you as a partner in the PTA!!! We are striving to obtain 100% PTA membership to enable us to do more for our school, students, and families. Please join and show your commitment to making Great Neck the best it can be.
How does joining the PTA benefit your family? PTA sponsors many events including; Reflections, Spring Dance, Sports Concessions, 8th Grade Celebration and Staff Appreciation. We also distribute a student directory and provide scholarships for GNMS alumni. Last year PTA helped support new bleachers, student incentives, classroom supplies and mascot costume.
How do you join? Simply fill out the membership form and return to the school. Memberships are $7.00 per adult ($2.75 for GNMS PTA, $4.25 for State and National PTA). Checks payable to GNMS. Parent and other family members are encouraged to join. You may send it in with your student, mail it, or drop it by the office. Please consider sponsoring another family who might not have the means to join.
Fundraising. We encourage you to participate in our annual Stingray Sharing Program. Great Neck Middle PTA does very little fund raising throughout the year; instead, we rely on donations from Stingray families. Your Stingray Sharing contribution can be included on the same check as PTA membership and sent in your membership envelope. Please make checks payable to GNMS PTA and return to the school.
The PTA is a partnership with the school, staff, parents, and the community. We look forward to an exciting year and successful year and appreciate your support.
